The image is from one of the most incredible sunsets I have ever experienced. We were wading in the bayside shallows when the sky exploded just after the sun went down. From horizon to horizon the sky was lit with hues purples and reds and pinks. And while I love this image, particularly because of my friends, I still feel like it doesn’t quite do that sunset justice.

I love the beach, boardwalk, and OC sunsets as did my friend Louis. Although these can never live up to his superb photos, I know he would be glad I submitted them.
