Storm Warriors 5K Walk/Run

Location: Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum

The mission of the Ocean City Museum Society is to inspire and support the interpretation and appreciation of the cultural and natural history of Ocean City, Maryland, the Worcester County coastal region, and equally, the historical role performed by the United States Life-Saving Service, and to preserve with subsequent mandate the 1891 structure that once served as the Ocean City Station. 

This run will take place on the Ocean City Boardwalk and will consist of an out-and-back course, perfect for the speediest of runners, or those who just want a casual walk. 

AWARDS

1st place overall, Male and Female
1st, 2nd Place Age Group Awards for the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

RESTRICTIONS 

As we will be on the Ocean City Boardwalk, bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, and pets are not allowed on either course during the race(s).  Baby joggers are only permitted on the 5K course.  These rules are for your safety as well as others on the course with you.  Anyone violating these rules will be immediately escorted off the course and out of the race.

DAY OF THE RACE:

Here are a few things you should know for this Saturday's Storm Warriors 5k walk/run.

Day-of registration and pre-registration packet pickup will open at 8:00 am. The gun will go off at 9:00 am! Our 5k walk/run will take place rain or shine. Awards will take place directly after the race.

Parking: All participants can park in the inlet parking lot. Parking is FREE
