Join our History Intern, Madison, on Mondays at 1:00 to learn about the United States Life-Saving Service. She will take you on a trip back in time as you walk through each room of Ocean City’s once-active 1891 Life Saving Station.
You will learn what day-to-day life looked like along with what is required to be a United States Life-Saving Service Surfman. What did downtime look like? What would they eat? Who was the Keeper? What kind of medicine did they use? All these answers plus more!
